18th Bunny Open 2024 Moroz (UKR) and Hubrtova (CZE) win!
The 18th Bunny Open 2024, the latest chapter in a long tradition of billiards tournaments, recently took place at the enchanting Patricks Rankweil. Since registration opened in January, it sold out within a week, as in previous years, underlining the enormous popularity and reputation of this event.
Over 200 participants from 24 nations competed against each other in a captivating contest. The men’s field offered spectacular moments that captivated the more than numerous spectators.
In the men’s final, Moroz Mykola from Ukraine put in a remarkable performance and triumphed with a clear 6:1 victory over Arda David from Austria. Moroz played flawlessly and gave his opponent no chance. Arda, although defeated, was overjoyed with his strong performance up to the final and congratulated Moroz warmly on his well-deserved victory.
Mario He’s elimination in the 1/8 final was particularly regrettable, as he was unfortunate to drop out of the tournament despite his great effort and skill.
The management of the tournament by Gre Leenders, President of the European Pocket Billiard Federation (EPBF), was highly praised by the participants. The atmosphere throughout the tournament was simply great and contributed to the positive mood.
The Easter period was reflected in every moment of the tournament and gave it a special atmosphere.
The tournament could be followed worldwide via a live stream, with the final captivating up to 1100 viewers in front of the screens.
In the women’s competition, Diana Stateczny was unable to defend her title from last year.
Instead, the cleverly playing Hubrtova Veronika from the Czech Republic turned the game in her favor in the final against the strong Witzel Kim from Germany after trailing 0:2 to win 5:3. Third place went to Primus Lena from Austria and Sirch Edith from Germany.
The 18th Bunny Open 2024 was undoubtedly a feast for billiard lovers worldwide and will be remembered for a long time to come.

18. Bunny Open 2024 Moroz (UKR) und Hubrtova gewinnen!
Das 18. Bunny Open 2024, das jüngste Kapitel einer langen Tradition des Billardturniers, fand kürzlich im bezaubernden Patricks Rankweil statt. Seit der Eröffnung der Anmeldung im Januar war es wie in den Jahren zuvor binnen einer Woche ausverkauft, was die enorme Beliebtheit und den Ruf dieses Events unterstreicht.
Über 200 Teilnehmer aus 24 Nationen traten gegeneinander an, um sich in einem fesselnden Wettkampf zu messen. Das Herrenfeld bot spektakuläre Momente, die die mehr als zahlreichen Zuschauer in ihren Bann zogen.
Im Finale der Herren zeigte Moroz Mykola aus der Ukraine eine bemerkenswerte Leistung und triumphierte souverän mit einem klaren 6:1-Sieg über Arda David aus Österreich. Moroz spielte fehlerfrei und ließ seinem Gegner keine Chance. Arda, obwohl unterlegen, war überglücklich über seine starke Leistung bis zum Finale und gratulierte Moroz ganz herzlich zu seinem verdienten Sieg.
Besonders bedauerlich war das Ausscheiden von Mario He im 1/8-Finale, der trotz großem Einsatz und Können unglücklich aus dem Turnier ausschied.
Die Leitung des Turniers Gre Leenders, dem Präsidenten der European Pocket Billiard Federation (EPBF), erntete viel Lob von den Teilnehmern. Die Atmosphäre während des gesamten Turniers war einfach großartig und trug zur positiven Stimmung bei.
Die Osterzeit spiegelte sich in jedem Moment des Turniers wider und verlieh ihm eine besondere Atmosphäre. Das Turnier war weltweit über einen Live-Stream zu verfolgen, wobei das Finale bis zu 1100 Zuschauer vor den Bildschirmen fesselte.
Im Damen Bewerb konnte Diana Stateczny ihren Titel des vergangenen Jahres nicht verteidigen.
Stattdessen drehte die klug spielende Hubrtova Veronika aus Tschechien im Finale gegen die stark spielende Witzel Kim aus Deutschland das Spiel nach einem 0:2-Rückstand zu ihren Gunsten auf 5:3. Auf dem dritten Platz landeten Primus Lena aus Österreich und Sirch Edith aus Deutschland.
Das 18. Bunny Open 2024 war zweifellos ein Fest für die Billardliebhaber weltweit und wird noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben.

Il 18° Bunny Open 2024, ultimo capitolo di una lunga tradizione di tornei di biliardo, si è svolto di recente nell’incantevole Patricks Rankweil. Le iscrizioni, aperte a gennaio, hanno registrato il tutto esaurito nel giro di una settimana, come negli anni precedenti, a dimostrazione dell’enorme popolarità e reputazione di questo evento.
Oltre 200 partecipanti provenienti da 24 nazioni si sono sfidati in una gara avvincente. Il settore maschile ha offerto momenti spettacolari che hanno ipnotizzato gli oltre numerosi spettatori.
Nella finale maschile, Moroz Mykola, ucraino, ha offerto una prestazione straordinaria e ha trionfato con un netto 6:1 sull’austriaco Arda David. Moroz ha giocato in modo impeccabile e non ha dato alcuna possibilità al suo avversario. Arda, sebbene sconfitto, è stato felicissimo della sua forte prestazione fino alla finale e si è congratulato calorosamente con Moroz per la sua meritata vittoria.
Particolarmente deplorevole è stata l’eliminazione di Mario He nella finale 1/8, che è stato sfortunato ad essere eliminato dal torneo nonostante il suo grande impegno e la sua abilità.

Il 18° Bunny Open 2024 è stato senza dubbio una festa per gli amanti del biliardo di tutto il mondo e sarà ricordato a lungo.
